Privacy Policy
This policy covers the elev8r.co.za website. Our product platforms have their own policies, because they process different information: EngaigeNow and Learnrv8. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What this website collects
Almost nothing. There are no visitor accounts, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking cookies. Browsing the site leaves no personal record with us. If you respond to the cookie notice shown on the site, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device — we do not receive or keep a copy.
The chat assistant
The site offers an AI chat assistant. If you use it, your messages (and the page you are on) are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service to generate replies, and your IP address is used transiently to limit abuse. Conversations are not used for advertising. If you choose to share contact details in the chat — your name, email address, and optionally a phone number or company — we store them and email them to our team so we can follow up on your enquiry. Sharing contact details is always your choice; the assistant works without them.
Contact links on this site open your own email app. Anything you send us by email is used to answer you and kept as ordinary business correspondence.
Where information is processed
The site is hosted on Google Cloud, and chat messages are processed by Anthropic. Some of this processing happens on servers outside South Africa; where it does, the transfer is made under section 72 of POPIA to providers bound by contractual and legal protections substantially similar to POPIA's conditions for lawful processing.
Retention
Contact details captured through the chat are kept for as long as we are dealing with your enquiry and our follow-up, and deleted on request.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections or deletion, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) (POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za). Reach us at hello@elev8r.co.za.

Changes
